New Students Always Welcome

You don't have to wait for the beginning of a new school year to apply to SCS. Students are welcome to register at anytime during the year. Feel free to contact the School Office by phone or by email if you have any questions, or if you would like to arrange an appointment to come in to see our school. 

Admission Process

Before applying to SCS, please review the information on our web site and/or in your information packet so that you are fully aware of what SCS has to offer. The following is a step-by-step admissions process:

Step 1 - Application and Registration Fee

Please submit the completed application to the SCS office along with the Registration Fee. This Registration Fee will be refunded if your child(ren) is/are not accepted. The application form includes:

  • Student Application / Health & Permission Forms: required to be completed for each student enrolling; includes health information and medical treatment instructions; permission for attending school events, publishing photos and leaving school grounds. Students in grades 7 – 12 are required to sign a conduct agreement with the school.
  • Covenant Agreement: All families must enter into a covenant with SCS to complete enrollment. This is a “Parental Understanding and Commitment” form, which states that you are in agreement with the policies of the school. Included in the covenant agreement is the SCS “statement of Christian faith”. By signing the covenant agreement, parents partner with SCS to uphold the school’s Christian foundation.
  • Reference Letters: applicants are asked to submit two reference letters.

Step 2 - Family Interview

An interview is scheduled with the Principal. The interview includes parents and students.

Step 3 - Final Acceptance

The Principal makes the final decision regarding acceptance, and parents will be notified approximately two weeks after receiving the full application and interviewing.

*Note: In some cases, academic testing will be required – An additional testing fee of $60/student will be charged to cover the costs of a proctor for the testing.

  3. Save the completed form to your computer. (Don’t forget to save the form once you have completed it, otherwise you may end up sending us an empty form.)

2024-25 Kindergarten to Grade 12 Tuition Fees

First payment or full payment to be paid upon acceptance into school.

Our tuition fee is a comprehensive standard tuition fee that includes our enriched educational program, as well as books and student activities - all value-added elements for our families. Our tuition fee includes:

  • Agenda
  • Books
  • Skating (JK to Grade 8)

  • Co-curricular activities and local travel
  • Integrated ESL program

Other Fees

The following fees are not covered by the comprehensive tuition:

  • School Uniforms
  • Hot Lunch
  • School Photos

  • School Supplies
  • Overnight and extended day trips

Fee Payment Options

Fees may be paid by cash, post-dated cheque, or e-transfer. Cheques are payable to "Sussex Christian School".

Option 1

One Payment

Submit one payment in full before August 31st.

Note: Receive a 5% discount on the tuition portion for K- Grade 12
  when all fees paid in full and completed registration forms submitted before July 1st.

Option 2

2 Equal Payments

Make two equal payments by
August 31st and January 31st.

Option 3

10 Payments

Submit 10 equal monthly payments starting August through May, by the 30th of each month.

Option 4

20 Payments

Submit 20 equal semi-monthly payments dated by the 15th & 30th of each month. (August through May).
