Sussex Christian School presents a well-rounded Kindergarten program.  The purpose of the program is to assist families by providing a program that will give your child the opportunity for social interaction and academic exposure in a Christian environment.

The full day instruction sessions (Monday-Friday, 8:30am-2:00pm) will include instruction in reading readiness, social development and personal development.  The curriculum will include “Letters and Sounds K5,” Writing and Phonics, Numbers Skills, Social Studies, Science, Basic Phonics Reading Program, Arts & Crafts (A Beka).

8. Number concepts 1-100
9. General concept of time and seasons
10. Use of pencil, scissors, glue, ruler
11. Basic health, safety and manners
12. Spatial directions
13. Music
14. Art
15. Physical development
16. Bible and scripture memory
17. Social Studies - community helpers, children of the world, simple geography
18. Science - weather, seasons, animals, seeds, seashore
